Charlotte was juggling homeschooling (her kids had been back at school for 4 days before half the year group came down with COVID, so they'd been sent home to self-isolate) with her full-time job, housework, cooking and food shopping and was absolutely exhausted! So every day for a whole 30 minutes, her husband took a break from his Very Important Job and very kindly babysat the children so Charlotte could eat a jam doughnut and indulge in a little light lute music. Recently she'd taken to timing how long she could eat a doughnut before licking her lips, and today she'd reached a milestone and made it as long as 15 seconds. Maybe tomorrow she'd reach 16!
