Every day the situation worsens for Afghan women and girls. Now excluded from attending school or university, this will mean a dark future with no opportunities. The implications are huge. No female GPs (women are banned from seeing male GPs so this will negatively affect the health of fifty percent of the nation’s population), no lawyers, teachers... women will no longer be visible in society. They are being erased. I created ‘Fight For Your Rights’ in solidarity with the women of Afghanistan and whilst the missile is purely symbolic, we need to fight this oppression. If sold, I will donate 25% of proceeds to the Unwomen charity who are delivering ongoing support to Afghan women.
