Although ruling Bologna with an iron fist came naturally to Giovanni II Bentivoglio, he most looked forward to Fridays (they observed 'Dress Down Friday' in the castle) when he didn't need to stand on ceremony and could wear his favourite Stone Island jumper. It made him feel like one of the lads, despite knowing that every person in Italy despised him.
Giovanni ended his days locked in a Fortress in Milan, with the memories of those Fridays spent sporting his prized jumper keeping him warm through his final years in a prison cell.
